2010 Midyear Meeting Highlights |
The 2010 Midyear Meeting drew a record-breaking attendance – almost 600 for the luncheon featuring Retired Justice David H. Souter as keynote speaker; 500 for the Professionalism Day CLE with Egil Krogh discussing his ethical struggles during and after his days in the Nixon administration, and more than 350 for the afternoon “Ethics Encounter” CLE, a format borrowed from a game show observed at the National Conference on Professional Responsibility.
Approximately half of the attendees had never attended an NHBA Midyear Meeting before; more than 100 new lawyers and 100 attorneys in public sector settings took advantage of targeted marketing and discounted pricing to attend.
